Picnics and Insects

Campers will enjoy stories, crafts, poetry, and picnic foods as we explore the world of amazing ants, buzzing bees, beautiful butterflies/cute caterpillars, and lovely ladybugs. This session will include reading, writing, and math fun! A snack is included each day, and students will receive a surprise to take home at the end of the session.

Read! Cook! Create!

This camp will give children opportunities to explore rich literature in picture book form, to activate and extend their prior knowledge on related topics, and make snacks and crafts connected to the stories. Some examples of books and activities are How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers, The Relatives Came by Cnythia Rylant, Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans and Jumanji by Chris van Allsburg. Opportunities to write and play games will occur each day as well. NEW BLOOMFIELD LOCATION ONLY.

Warrior Girl Power II

Similar but different than last year’s session… Explore a variety of “warrior girl power” activities meant to strengthen our girls & help them to find their voices in this world! We will explore true “warrior girl power” pioneers across all walks of life; try a variety of yoga practices using visualization, mindfulness activities, & fun poses (& yoga nap!). We’ll also find a spirit animal, explore concepts of stress & how to counteract this, test the uses of positive energy, & keep an open mind with our hands-on projects/discussions.

Kayaking Camp

Campers will learn basic water safety and get to try both single and tandem kayaks on local, calm waterways. Kayak, paddle and life vest are provided. Campers should wear water shoes or old sneakers. HALIFAX LOCATION ONLY.

Summer Lotus Program Week 2

Are you looking for a way to connect with peers over the summer? 
The Summer Lotus Program is a fun and engaging opportunity for teenagers that provides students with the chance to socialize with peers, improve self-esteem and build connections within their community. The program runs Monday through Thursday and focuses on improving interpersonal skills, team building opportunities, and adventure based activities. Teens have the option of signing up for one or two weeks.

Fitness Fun!

Campers will focus on the importance of exercise and nutrition. An opportunity for team building, addressing mental health and anxiety, and creating obstacle courses will be explored.

Drone Camp for Kids

Drones are becoming ever more popular in many fields of work. This Drone camp will be geared towards younger campers, where they will have the opportunity to learn the basics of navigating a drone, completing obstacle courses inside and outside. Campers will keep the DJI Tello drone and GameSir T1d Controller.

Expression Through Art

Expression Through Art will allow children to express themselves through art. The children will be given an overview of the project but will be able to add their own creativity and make their own unique project. Art therapy is very beneficial to many children who are struggling or are in need of an outlet. Not only will this camp allow children to express themselves, it will also provide them with new friendships and interactions with peers. HALIFAX LOCATION ONLY.

Tiny Chefs

Kids will learn how to work with one another and learn the fundamentals of the culinary arts. They will also learn how to make healthy foods, and give kids confidence in the kitchen. Most importantly they will learn safety and sanitation, proper nutrition and culinary techniques. We will have a Homemade Spa workshop, Working with Dough, Spectacular Desserts, Fun with Food, and Cooking with Color/ Rainbow Theme. NEW BLOOMFIELD LOCATION ONLY.
