3D Printing and Design

Have you ever wanted to see your design ideas come to life in real physical models you can hold in your hands? The design world is changing by using 3D printers for rapid prototyping. This camp will give you the chance to design your own products and 3D print them in environmentally friendly PLA plastics. We will also be looking at 3D scanning technology and using it to create a personal bobble head figure! Participants should bring a USB flash drive (at least 2 Gigs) each day for saving projects.

3D Computer Animation

Have you ever wondered how your favorite 3D animated movies and advertisements are created? This camp will focus on 3D modeling, texturing, and animation techniques using the powerful open source program, Blender. Projects will include creating 3D animated logos, nature scenes, camera tracking, and character animation. You will never watch an animated movie the same way again after taking this camp. Cooking Club

Do you love cooking? Cooking Club is a camp designed for kids who are interested in learning more about the culinary arts. Topics include kitchen safety, cooking skills, making snacks with or without a microwave, and an opportunity to participate in a Chopped Jr. competition!

Minecraft Camp

Calling all Minecraft fans! Minecraft camp will engage children through the video game, Minecraft: Education Edition. The children that participate will learn the basics of the game and work collaboratively to create something that demonstrates careful planning and teamwork. This camp will also encourage children to play and experiment as much as is possible through the many applications of Minecraft.

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Are you a Harry Potter fan? Do you wish you could have a Hogwarts letter mailed to your house? This class is for you because we will experience a week at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. On your first day, you will be sorted in Houses. On the second, we will make wands to try some spells. The third day, we will create potions. On the last day, we will discover some mythical creatures are loose in the school. Each day we will watch some of the first four movies, so be ready! See you at Platform 9 3/4!

Summer Lotus Program Week 1

Are you looking for a way to connect with peers over the summer? 
The Summer Lotus Program is a fun and engaging opportunity for teenagers that provides students with the chance to socialize with peers, improve self-esteem and build connections within their community. The program runs Monday through Thursday and focuses on improving interpersonal skills, team building opportunities, and adventure based activities. Teens have the option of signing up for one or two weeks.

Read! Cook! Create!

This camp will give children opportunities to explore rich literature in picture book form, to activate and extend their prior knowledge on related topics, and make snacks and crafts connected to the stories. Some examples of books and activities are How to Catch a Star by Oliver Jeffers, The Relatives Came by Cnythia Rylant, Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans and Jumanji by Chris van Allsburg. Opportunities to write and play games will occur each day as well. New Bloomfield location ONLY.

Tiny Chefs

Kids will learn how to work with one another and learn the fundamentals of the culinary arts. They will also learn how to make healthy foods, and give kids confidence in the kitchen. Most importantly they will learn safety and sanitation, proper nutrition and culinary techniques. We will have a Homemade Spa workshop, Working with Dough, Spectacular Desserts, Fun with Food, and Cooking with Color/ Rainbow Theme. HALIFAX LOCATION ONLY.

Expression Through Art

Express yourself through art! At the beginning of the week, campers will be given an overview of the project but will be able to add their own creativity and uniqueness. Art therapy is very beneficial for many children who are struggling or are in need of an outlet. Not only will this camp allow children to express themselves, it will also provide them with new friendships and interactions with peers. MIDDLETOWN LOCATION ONLY.
