Scholarship Opportunity
The 2022 CAIU Summer Camps program is now accepting applications for scholarships. Scholarship amount will be determined based upon remainder of funds.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, the household must fall into the Income Eligibility Bracket displayed in the table below. If the household falls into the Income Eligibility Bracket below, please complete the application by June 10, 2022 using the link provided below.

Documentation needing to be provided is the latest tax documentation including your total household net income and household size, including dependents.
Income Eligibility Guidelines
The following are the Income Eligibility Guidelines effective from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022. The chart details the free summer camp eligibility criteria for monthly income, income received twice monthly (24 payments per year); income received every two weeks (26 payments per year) and weekly income. Income calculations are made based on the following formulas: Monthly income is calculated by dividing the annual income by 12; twice monthly income is computed by dividing annual income by 24; income received every two weeks is calculated by dividing annual income by 26; and weekly income is computed by dividing annual income by 52. All numbers are rounded upward to the next whole dollar. The numbers reflected in this notice for a family of four in the Pennsylvania.
How To Apply
Please fill out one application form per household for the 2022 Summer Camps program. The application must be filled out completely to certify your children for a scholarship opportunity. Each step of these instructions is the same as the steps on your application. If at any point you are not sure what to do next, please contact the Summer Camps team at summercamps@caiu.org.
STEP 1: List all household members who are infants, children, and students up to and including Grade 12
STEP 2: Report income for all household members
STEP 3: Provide list camps interested in attending and dates they will be held
STEP 4: Upload tax documents for verification of income eligibility
